Who are the UW-Teaching Academy Fellows?

The UW-Madison Teaching Academy is made up of about 120 fellows from departments and programs throughout the university.  These fellows represent faculty, academic staff, and outreach instructors.  Several rosters of those previously or currently involved in the UW Teaching Academy are available:

An alphabetical roster of Fellows.

A listing of Fellows by Department.

A roster of New Fellows, inducted in April 2006.

A list of Emeritus Fellows who are no longer with the university.

A current list of Executive Committee members.

A list of Future Faculty Partners.

How do I become a Fellow of the UW-Madison Teaching Academy?

The Teaching Academy accepts nominations for fellows in mid-February of each year. Nominees should be members of the faculty or academic staff involved in teaching.   Nomination procedures and application materials for the academic year 2005/2006 are now available. You will need an Adobe Acrobat PDF Reader to download the application.

How do I become a Future Faculty Partner?

Prospective FFPs will complete an application similar to (but briefer than) that of prospective Fellows. Nominees should be at UW-Madison engaged in graduate or professional study for a career in higher education teaching (such as graduate students, teaching assistants, medical and veterinary residents, post-doctoral fellows, etc). Future Faculty Partners application materials are available in pdf or html. The deadline for FFP applications will be coordinated with that for Teaching Academy Fellows.
