FFP Co-chair Jenn Kowalkowski’s tips and resources for moving online.
- Digital and online resources for teaching labs
- Select resources for pivoting to online
- An example of one instructor’s strategy to connect with students while moving class online. This was found at: https://www.facebook.com/groups/higheredandcoronavirus/
- One platform that some instructors are using as they pivot to online learning is polleverywhere. You can create free accounts and they merge nicely into google slides (downloading an extension and then you can insert activities into the presentation). This can generate word clouds, quizzes, as well as emotional check in to see how people are doing. As educators, we often rely on reading the room, and this can be harder in online spaces.
